- Prior to his career with NFCM, he had been responsible for technology acquisition in Corporate R&D Strategy Office of Panasonic Corporation. Also he led M&A and joint venture projects in mobile handset business unit and created a new business in Panasonic. He started his career in The Industrial Bank of Japan, Limited (currently Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd. after a merger), where he worked for International Headquarters, Credit Department and other positions.
Mikihide ("Miki") Katsumata , Executive Vice President CFA
- Before joining NFCM in 2007, he was a Partner at Nippon Mirai Capital, a Japanese private equity fund. From 1999 to 2002 he worked for Merrill Lynch Japan as a Director at its Global Principal Investments Group. Before that, he worked for The Industrial Bank of Japan, Limited, primarily in the areas of acquisition finance and private equity investments.
Currently he is the President & CEO of Mobile Internet Capital, Inc., a venture capital fund in Tokyo.
Junichi (“Johnny”) Nakamura, Managing Director
- Before joining NFCM, he was a Managing Executive Officer at Mizuho Securities Co,. Ltd. During his carrier with Mizuho Securities, he was a head of global equity and debt capital markets and also head of asia and middle east committee, joint head of global investment banking division、joint head of international division.
He joined The Industrial Bank of Japan, Limited and worked mainly in the areas of global customer business, and also bank's non-yen-denominated currency portfolio management (fixed income and equity) business.
Shinichi Inoue, Vice President
- Before joining NFCM he was director and head of the Investment Division of Jaleco Holding Ltd. Before joining Jaleco, he worked as an investment professional at Phoenix Capital and Capmark Japan. From 2003 to 2006, he worked in the Financial Advisory section of Ernst & Young Global Financial Services. He began his career in equity and bond underwriting in the Investment Banking Division of Nikko Securities Co., Ltd. (currently known as Citigroup Global Markets Japan Inc.).
